Email that went out today
This was an email that went out today to all parents who have children at Trinity. If you did not receive this email, please email Lisa Snead at email@example.com and ask her to put you on the Children’s Ministry list. Thanks!
|Hi all! I am very excited to be your new Director of Children’s Ministries. If I have not had the chance to meet you yet, I hope I get to soon! I have enjoyed getting to know your children over the past few weeks and look forward to connecting with each of you by coming alongside you through the difficult and rewarding task of parenting. I have a few updates for you as we move towards the end of summer and the beginning of the Fall. Name ChangesIn the coming months you will notice some distinct changes in the way our Children’s Ministry operates. These changes will be aimed at making our programs more engaging for your children. I will also be making an effort to make volunteering in our Children’s Ministry less of a burden. Roles will be clarified and expectations made more reasonable, making it much easier to get involved in serving our children. To accompany these changes, we will be renaming a few things around here. Below are a few of the changes:
Sunday Mornings will now be known as TrinKids. This part of our ministry will have two parts, just like it always has. Those parts will now be known as TrinKids Sunday School and TrinKids Worship.
Sunday Evenings (starting August 14th) will now be known as TrinKids PM. There will be two parts to this as well. PreK-3rd grade will be known as Kids Club and 4th and 5th grade will be known as Crossfire. I am especially excited about the facelift this program is getting. Stay tuned as we will be rolling out a master plan for this program along with opportunities to get involved next week at our new blog: http://www.trinkids.wordpress.com.
Snack Change for PreK – 2nd grade
In an effort to streamline TrinKids Worship to make it more of a true worship service, we are moving the snack the children normally enjoy in Worship to Sunday School. This may effect families who send their children to Worship but not Sunday School. Be aware that if this applies to you that your child will no longer be receiving a snack in the morning and so you will need to plan accordingly. Those who send their children to both, just be aware that your child will be receiving their snack 45 minutes earlier than they are used to.
If you made it through that long email, I congratulate you. If there is anything I can do to be of service or if you have any questions for me, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 321-266-8672. Please also make sure to check into our new blog at http://www.trinkids.wordpress.com and “Like” us on Facebook @ Trinity Presbyterian Church Children’s Ministry to stay updated on all the latest.
